It has brought new life to my tools. The old is now 20. You can use the old 18 volts tools. To purchase 18v was very expensive. Love the concept

A: It will fit and work fine. Mine is a little tough to remove from the tool needs jiggling around to get out. 20 volt batteries go on and off well.

Q: Will this work on my drill DC720 ? and why the description says it won't work with my drill DC970. Does Dewalt still make 18V nickel battery or it's discontinuated ?
