Durable radio

Needed something to keep me busy and pass the time while doing renovations and this worked perfect. This thing was dropped and knocked off stairs and held up perfectly.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Radio Surprised Me and Made My Day!

I bought this radio/charger about 5 yrs ago, On March 2018 I had a house fire and lost my house, Cleaning up the mess I found my radio buried under the ceiling debris and insulation. Surprising it was not burnt. It was frozen from the water the fire department had used to try to put out the fire. The volume and tuner knobs were frozen solid and no display for clock and stations. Minus 15 deg temp that day. I set radio in the sun light for a while, when it warmed up a little the knobs turned, I replaced the memory batteries (AA batteries behind the 18v battery) and the display worked..COOL, I inserted the 18v battery and the radio worked. GREAT! THAT MADE MY DAY! I still use the radio till this day. Only the and tuner knob display jumps around when trying to tune stations, but i push the arrow buttons on the front and save stations on memory. The speakers seem to work great. Have to move radio around sometimes to tune the stations...But thats OK.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Lousy Tuner Knob

Have had this for years and tuning is an exercise in futility as others have noted. No rhyme or reason to the changing of stations whether you rotate the knob CW or CCW. Jumps to where it wants to go and you just have to keep playing with it to get it to the station you want.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Waste of money

The tuner knob has a mind of its own. It might jump seven frequencies up, or down, or even just land you back where you began. Good luck getting the station you want. But, maybe that's why they added three station memory preset buttons. Uh, nope, because the memory is not retained when you turn off the radio. This thing is nothing more than a colossal piece of frustration. I wouldn't even recommend this thing to my mother-in-law.

No, I do not recommend this product.
