Product Details

DAP Wall and Cavity Foam with Widespray Applicator is a one-component spray foam solution that broadcasts sprays like 2-component foam while air sealing. Features a patent-pending wide spray applicator. When used according to the manufacturer’s directions, it effectively air seals homes and buildings while providing Class A fire resistance. The patent-pending technology offers a wide broadcast spray pattern similar to two-component systems, but in an easy-to-use one-component can solution that can be applied to a wide temperature range of 5°C - 49°C of ambient substrates. Ideal for rim joists, touch-ups or repairs and smaller projects.

Horrible. Don't waste your money.

Absolute garbage. Don't buy this. You're just going to have to clean it off the floor. Give me my money back. The plastic applicator broke while screwing the nozzle on to the can. I've used these types of cans many times. This one is poorly designed.

Not Worth It

Just like others, I was mislead by the “wide spray” application, which is absolutely a LIE. It’s the same as any other foam (which are half the cost). “Hold 12” away” DO NOT do that. Otherwise you’re just playing with silly string and it’ll go wherever. Why? Because it doesn’t have a wire spray!! Used up the can pretty quick too, so for 30.00+ I would prefer to purchase two cans of any other foam, and it would have done twice the job this can did.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Bottom of the barrel

Absolutely terrible product, I’ve used a handful of different brands and applicators with much better results, a gap filler would be better than this. Wide spray is not as advertised, I bought this specifically for rim joists and prepped/applied as directed, I got one joist down before it clogged and reduced in weight by 70%, it did not expand much, definitely not 3x. Stored in suggested temperatures and used day after purchase. STAY AWAY. But, if you like throwing away your money then go ahead and buy this. If 0 stars was available I would select 0.
