As indicated prominently on the front of the package: "CHAMELEON TECHNOLOGY – MIX STAINS & PIGMENTS – CREATE EXACT COLOR MATCH” - Color Blend Technology allows you to mix stains or pigments directly into the wet state for an exact color match. As indicated on the product package label and supporting product literature: “APPLICATION: If staining, test wood filler with desired stain on scrap wood before filling to ensure desired stain color. Stain before filling with wood filler, then use stain to develop desired final finish. COLOR BLENDING: If making a custom color, mix the stain or finish directly into the wet wood filler until desired color is achieved, then follow patching and finishing instructions. FINISHING: May be painted with latex-based paint or oil-based paint immediately after sanding. Exterior applications must be coated with latex or oil-based paint or solid color stain. I used it to fill some of the cracks in my wood baseboards and it seems to have done the job well. Doesn’t take too long to dry if you put a small amount on.
