Q: 3 year old Danze double handle faucet Chrome #063 9835 0 hot water side handle squeaking, what to do please

A: Turn off both hot and cold supply taps under the sink. Pop the handle tops off using a small screwdriver. Unscrew the screw holding the handle. Remove the handle. Using an adjustable wrench unscrew the height nut. Using plumbers silicone grease lubricate the large threads of the tap. Reassemble the tap in reverse. Put the grease on everything so the job is easy next time.

Q: Can this faucet be installed on holes on countertop or the holes has to be on the sink?

A: Hello and Thank you for your question, we are not sure what kind of countertop you have, but as long as the holes for the shanks are 1.5" in diameter and you have enough space underneath to tighten them you should be fine, the shanks are 2 1/16" long.
