Q: I understand that this crockpot has a set end time, but does it come with a feature to delay the start time? I work early and don't want the 8 hrs to be done at say 3 pm, can I set a start time with it?

Q: Can this crock pot be used with a timer. For ex. setting a timer for it to not start cooking until 1PM if you get it ready at 8AM before you leave for work. I have found that the keep warm setting is still too hot causing food to stick/overcook.

I love this crockpot. I had a birthday party for my husband and made chilli for 30 people. I had a president’s choice, crockpot, an old small crockpot and this new one going all at once. The overall winner was this one. It Worked extremely well cooking as well as keeping the chilli warm. The instructions were clear. The second best was the small crockpot, brand, crockpot, simple and worked very well. Bringing up the rear was the president‘s choice brand, it did the job but not nearly as well as the other two. I’m very pleased.
