Q: Does this Playard have a mattress? Can a mattress pad and sheet be added to it?

A: The playard does not come with a mattress for the bottom use. For the top part of the playard, there is a thin mattress/pad for baby to sleep on. I would recommend getting a mattress for bottom part and use a think blanket for top part to make it soft and comfortable.
