I bought 3 begs all are wet soil with stinky smells, lots of plants roots, mold green peat. Never buy this again.

Q: Does this contain fertilizers? I am looking for a potting mix that doesn't contain any fertilizers - "Releases moisture and nutrients" doesn't tell me where they come from.

A: CIL Plus Potting Soil + Zeba does not contain any added fertilizers. To determine if a soil product has added fertilizer check for a "Guarantee Minimum Analysis" As per Canadian Regulations through the CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency), any product containing, or claiming to have a nutrient value, must carry a Guarantee Minimum Analysis listing all nutrient levels by percentage, indicating both macro and micro nutrients, and if these nutrients are from a slow release source. If the product does not carry a Guarantee Minimum Analysis indicating nutrients then you can be assured nothing has been added.
