Product Details
Champion’s ATV/UTV Winch Kit has a 3000-lb. rated line pull powered by a 1.3-horsepower (12-volt) DC motor. With a gear reduction ratio of 171:1, this kit includes a mounting channel, snatch block pulley and straps, plus an ergonomic mini-rocker handlebar switch and wiring kit with contactor.

Q: Can I mount this on a tree to pull logs up a hill or out of the bush?
6 years agoA: This winch is designed for recovery purposes of a rolling vehicle. A tree log will weigh the same at 30 feet away as it does from 3 feet away, the difference is the winching capacity changes as wire coils up on the drum.

Q: Is this winch sealed as in water sealed?
2 years agoA: The unit can be dropped into a body of water up to a meter deep for half an hour. Our winch manual states the winch should never be submerged. it is water resistant, but not waterproof. It should be covered during periods of non-use if stored outdoors on a vehicle. Thank you.

Q: I bought this Champion winch to lift heavy items in my garage but, since I don't use it on an ATV, I don't know where to connect the small red wire that is supposed to connect to the ATV ignition. What do I need to do to make it work?
5 years agoA: First, we are required to advise you that winches are not designed for lifting, they are only approved for pulling. The difference is in the braking system. Never try to suspend or secure a load with this style winch. Do not stand behind a load attached to the winch. A hoist is recommended for this application. The red wire, if not connected to an ignition, should be connected to the positive terminal on the relay or spliced into the red positive battery lead. Thank you.

Q: Will this fit a 2020 Polaris sportsman 570
5 years agoA: The winch will fit on the mounting plate of the Polaris yes, but the mounting plate that is included in the box will not. Champion mounting plates are only generic, they don't fit all ATV’s, but you can get a mounting plate specific for your ATV by contacting your dealership.

Q: Hi, would this fit on a 2017 Polaris 570 sportsman atv?
6 years agoA: All of our winches fit on most units, the only difference would be the mounting plate, the Polaris is specific, so if his unit comes with the mounting plate, our winch will fit...if it doesn't, ours is universal and will fit on most units, but not all. In this case he will need to purchase a mounting plate from the dealership
