Excellent, quiet and convenient

I like this opener. We have it on a 10x10 door and it’s very quiet, it’s not fast but it’s not slow and it has great safety features that my other garage door opener doesn’t. I like that it reminds me if the door is closed and that I can close it from anywhere with my phone. I love that I can open it with my phone when I’ve forgotten my shed keys in the house lol.

this door opener is really good, I have never installed a door opener of any kind before, it was a breeze to install and operate, chaimberlin has a step by step video on YouTube, if you follow that it will be hard to go wrong, 100% recommend

I like the side mount door opener, compared to the belt driven ones very quiet and smooth and I like it paired to my phone. The only downfall is that you do not receive a camera with it anymore for security they don’t offer it anymore with the unit, which was a very nice add-on, I thought.

Bought recently and managed to install; extremely poor instructions in both manual and app, incomplete with wrong info, etc. How can a consumer product be so poorly documented is shocking

A: The unit does not come with an emergency release on the outside of the garage but you can add the Quick Release mechanism which is installed on the outside of the garage door, model 7702CB-P Quick Release. Q: Ma porte de garage fonctionne avec un ressort de chaque côté des rails au plafonds, donc aucun spring sur un shaft au mur de la porte, pour ton installer se moteur quand même? Sur quoi s'attache t'il?

A: L'opérateur mural ne fonctionnera pas sur ce style de porte de garage car la torsion est de chaque côté de la porte avec des ressorts et non au-dessus de la porte sur la barre qui traverse le haut de la porte. Cela ne permettra pas à la porte de s'ouvrir directement avec un support mural à une extrémité, vous devrez donc toujours utiliser un opérateur de chariot qui soulève la porte du centre de la porte par le haut.

Q: What is the minimum space needed from the garage door frame to a wall for this unit to fit? Does the clamp shaft on the unit to the bar connection come apart to reduce the amount of space to install?

A: Minimum 10 inches. Clamp shaft will not come apart. Motor can be put on either left or right side of door.

Q: I bought model rjo20c garage opener, with wifi and the myQ gateway network hardware . the myQ app is asking for a 10 digit serial number, but my opener has 12 digit… anyone else have this issue? Chamberlain support said I need a smart garage controlle

A: I had an issue with my opener and I phoned the company and spoke with a human. He was incredibly helpful and solved my problem in about 12 seconds! I’d recommend that if you haven’t phoned.
