The Certified Universal Snowblower Friction Wheel Ring fits current Troy-Bilt, Yardworks, Yard Machines and 2-stage Snowblowers. The tire chains replace MTD #735-0243 and comes with a rubber ring. Make sure to disconnect the spark plug wire and place it where it cannot contact the plug before servicing your snowblower.

If you never changed one before, it's a bit of work. Blower has to go up on its front, bottom plate removed, tire has to be removed, axle taken out, replace this drive wheel on the hub. And reverse the process. Save around $200 for doing it yourself.

Q: How is this attached to the aluminum wheel? If glue, what kind?

A: This item does not need to be glued. The ring fits in between the two disk and then the disks are secured together by the disks screws.
