Performs adequately as a tack hammer once its head-looseness was corrected --- a simple matter of slightly forcing the steel head further down the handle until it's firmly in place, a matter of a mm or 2 (subject to further adjustment when & if the wood should dry-out more). As far as its "magnetic" end-properties, those are so weak as to say nil, irrelevant. Otherwise, a decent product.
