Best oil I've found for VW TDI

I normally use Mobil ESP because it meets the VW TDI spec. I tried this because it was on sale and also meets the VW spec. My fuel mileage actually increased 1 mpg on average, and the oil appeared cleaner at the end of the change interval. CDN Tire rarely puts it on sale, but when it's on sale I would recommend it. Btw I drive all highway and change my oil at 8500 km for reference, the oil specifies you can extend the change interval but turbos need clean oil, so that's your choice.

The Castrol Euro 0W30 is probably THE best oil CTC carries. Meets the BMW LL-01 and Porsche A40 standards, two of the toughest oil standards there are. I use this oil in everything, from all my BMWs, Toyota that calls for a 5W20, Honda Civic Si, Chev Suburban, Mazda3 etc etc etc. Even use it in my generator and riding mower. Spend some time on BITOG (Bob is the Oil Guy) and see why for yourself.
