Q: Are these inner tubes in 2018 suitable for tubeless tires? Utility trailer 600 lb capacity and used occasionally at highway speed for one hour trip.

Q: what are the limitations of tubes vs new tire I have an old trailer with old tires 5.30-12". Do I need to replace the tires or can I get away with tubes? Do these tubes have limitations compared to tires -- such as lower highway speeds, lower weight, etc. Thank you
16 years agoA: With tubes you must downgrade the speed rating of your tire 13km/h. And any folds in the tube can cause internal failure, tubes are not recommended in tubeless tires either, the new tubeless tires have a rough finish on the inside of the tires that will eventually wear a hole in the tube.
