Q: What does the Load rating "c" mean?

  • A: The Load Rating or Load Range of a trailer tire indicates its “strength” and relative capacity to carry weight, where letters farther down the alphabet indicate a stronger tire with a higher capacity (“C” is stronger than “B”). This trailer tire in Load Range “C” has a maximum capacity of 1,360-lbs; thus, on a single-axle trailer (with two tires), the tires can support a combined weight of the trailer and payload, not exceeding 2,720-lbs.
