Great weights! They stink though!!!! The first few days after unboxing I stored the weights in a bathroom with the fan on and the door closed. Wow they were stinky! Even now, several weeks later, the rubber/plastic is giving off a powerful smell. Started doing arm workouts every second day. Seems to be working well. Weights are easily selected and returned to the rack. Overall I’m happy with them. Just that initial fume was brutal !

A: Yes there's a moderate smell to it. Just wipe it down and it'll eventually subside. It's not too bad - still a good deal

A: The dumbbells can be left in an open space to be aired out, also you use a mild cleaner (such as liquid soap; hand or dish) to lather, completely rinse and completely air dry. Which can help the smell dissipate faster.

A: I just bought this sat and it smells bad! You could smell the weights before they were even opened. And there also was a greasy type substance on some of the weights. I am waiting them all down and hopefully the smell will go away because it's bad.
