Designed with a rustic-inspired metal and plastic rattan construction, the CANVAS Salerno Pendant Light offers a cage-like shade for an attractive aesthetic sure to impress guests at your next outdoor get-together or backyard barbecue. This solar pendant light is powered by the included solar panel, which comes with a mounting clip for easy installation. The solar panel powers the eight warm white LED lights, which illuminate your outdoor space in a soft, comfortable glow ideal for romantic evenings or drinks and conversations with your friends on the patio. The LED lights automatically turn on at night, so you never have to worry about hitting the switch to turn them on and off. For added convenience with placement, this pendant light features an adjustable drop height and hanging hook, so you can place it over your table or sitting area without worrying about the light being too imposing. Terrible Quality - No durability

We bought the light for our outdoor gazebo. stopped working after one summer outside. The LED light filled with rain water and the solar panel stopped working. There is no way to open the LED light fixture or disconnect the solar panel to replace either.

No, I do not recommend this product.

It was nice while it lasted.

I got one full summer out of it. This year, it's almost like it has a short. It won't turn on, and when it does, it's only on for a few minutes and then shuts off. The solar panel is directly in the sun, and I have changed the batteries. —stored indoors during the winter months as well. What a waste. Nice looking product and when it worked, it was perfect.

Q: Is the canvas Salerno pendant chandelier waterproof. Ie. can you leave it out in the rain.

  • A: While the structure and solar panel unit is considered outdoor/weatherproof, small LED light bulb unit is NOT waterproof. I bought 2 of these units for my Pergola in my backyard patio and the LED light units have water inside them. I had to exchange one of the units after a week as it stopped working, and while the other one still functioning, I will have to exchange that unit as well due to water damage and that unit will likely stop working soon. I love the design/aesthetics of these pendant lights, but I wish they made the led light units waterproof. Unless these units are installed under a sheltered area or will little rain, the same fate will likely happen.

  • A: It doesn’t use a bulb.   It has built in LED lighting which is solar charged.

Q: anyone else have an issue with missing parts? i purchased one, put it together and it was missing the clips to keep the pendant together, and rechargeable batteries were missing - took it back, got another one and same thing - clips and batteries missing.

  • A: This is a beautiful solar light. Everything was in the box and very easy to assemble. Works great on my deck all year long. Highly recommend and makes a fantastic Ambience.

Q: Does this unit have a replaceable battery? Mine worked for about a month and then hasn’t worked since. Too expensive to only get to use it for one month. Quite disappointed ☹️

  • A: Mine did the same. Bring it back to the store. The item has a one year warranty. I didn’t have a receipt but they were able to locate the purchase via my rewards. FYI, the replacement also did the same so it seems to be a problem with the problem. It looked nice while it worked though!

Q: Regarding the water issue.. Knowing water can get into the led's, is the top accessible in a way that it can be waterproofed? (ie. warm glue or even electrical tape)

  • A: That’s what I did to help prevent water going in. So far seems okay for last summer. Will need to test it to see if it survived the winter this spring.

Q: Regarding Salerno Pendant Light: 1) how long is cable between the solar panel and the lamp? 2) how long is the expandable cord for hanging the lamp (minumum and maximum)?
