Q: Does the shelving line up with the Narrow Robson unit so that when place side by side, the shelves are the same height?

A: Yes it lines up perfectly, it looks beautiful side by side. I bought two of the narrow and two of the wide, which I used to achieve a built-in look on either side of my fireplace. On the narrow unit, you are able to choose which side you want the door to swing open, so you can achieve a nice symmetrical look.

A: The answer from the Sauder Support Team is correct. I had already gone ahead and purchased the unit on spec and took note of these restrictions in the course of assembly. I was surprised that a product described as a bookcase would have these rather conservative limits. Books are typically heavy, and a shelf of these dimensions full of them would easily surpass the weight restrictions. On that basis, I would say that the unit is overpriced, though I was able to get it at a substantial discount. On the whole, however, I would say that it's well designed and visually appealing, so I'm not overly disappointed.

The shelf unit is exactly what I was looking for. The only complaint I have is the big sticker on the bottom shelf. An easy peel sticker like the one that’s on the side of another shelf would have been great. I ended up nicking the surface with the scraper blade I was using to get it off.

terrible quality, cheap faux wood over cardboard type material, pathetic weight bearing for a "book" shelf. I own 3, none of which are worth the cost. AVOID.

I received this product damaged Didn't realize till after the delivery Do I need to phone customer service or can this be handled here? Here are the pics of if the box It has not been open and also the receipt on the box II can get an exchanged that would be great Thank you

Not at all good

Product was sold to me with open box and 1/3 of the hardware missing, plastic surfaces of laminate "wood" scratched. Canadian Tire is not a place to pur hase furniture from. Several bad past experiences also, unfortunately.
