Meets my needs

I can't speak to how easy it is to put together since my husband did that. It's heavy and wider than I originally thought but this is a pro and not a con for me. I like that we can rearrange the look if we want to. Looks great in our space!

The modular shelving unit is very nice looking. It is sturdy but heavy. The shelves are long and wide and hold a lot of books and items. I started putting it together but my husband had to finish the job because it was too heavy for me to move around.

Q: Is this actually 32 inches wide or 38 inches wide? As a photo and specification shows 32 inches wide but the title shows 38 inches wide

A: By looking at the label on the package, it is 38 1/4". The spec and dimension picture are wrong.

A: The measurements in the specs are correct. If the size is what you want then I recommend this awesome bookshelf. So sturdy and looks amazing when assembled.

Q: It says each self can hold 100lbs, but then says max capacity is 44lbs. Which is it? I am looking for a sturdy bookcase, for books, lots of them.

A: 44 lbs is a conservative data, which is also the capacity weight we recommend. 100 lbs is the max capacity. This bookcase is sturdy for books.
