Poor Quality Candles That Only Last A Year

I bought two lanterns one in each size and they cost quite a bit of money. The candles themselves are faulty.. Despite being on a covered deck, and brought in for the winter., they stopped working after the first summer with brand new batteries and barely any use. Canadian Tire should be offering replacement candles for these very expensive lanterns.

Q: I bought two of these lanterns last year, and really enjoyed them. However, when I brought them out of storage and placed them outside this year, they won't work. I have replaced the batteries, but it didn't help. Any suggestions?

A: Interesting because I bought two last summer and left them outside under cover in our fireplace and they worked throughout the whole winter and are continuing to work. There is a timer setting on the lanterns though so you may want to check that as you can set them to come in at certain times. Ours were off schedule until we set them properly. Hope this helps.

Q: Had these lanterns for 1 summer & they've stopped working-changing batteries did nothing. How can I change the candle bulbs? Seems only the battery compartment is accessibe. If so, poor design & very wasteful, would not recommend.
