Looks Great but the LOUD beep on fireplace is bad

Visually, this TV stand is everything we wanted in terms of size and looks. The fireplace is very pretty and warms the room well. HOWEVER, anytime you hit a button on the remote or the fireplace itself, it is the loudest beep! Louder than any appliance in my house. if you are raising the temperature, you have to bear with dozens of beeps that eco throughout my house. my wife was in the bedroom upstairs and could hear anytime i adjusted the fan setting or temp, or even the brightness of the simulated flame. Ive been through the manual several times and cant figure how to mute the beep. its definitely the Worst part of this unit.
