A: These come with an 'L' bracket, you will have to install them to the vent cover frame, then attach the vent cover to the 'L' brackets.

A: Canadian Tire does not carry different colors as part of our regular assortment; however, you can visit your local Canadian Tire store and they would be happy to special order a different color for you. The store will be able to provide you with the different colour and size options available.

Q: Does this vent cover work with a vent that has a fan ?

A: Our vent cover works with roof vents that are up to 14x14-inch in size. If your vent is equipped with a fan that is not flush-mounted, you may have a difficult time installing the cover or opening the vent. If your fan is flush-mounted, the vent cover should work with your vent. We would recommend turning the fan off while the hatch is open to avoid burning out the motor of your fan.
