The Crown S 490 features 460 sq-in primary cooking surface and a durable cast aluminum cookbox. The cooking system features heavy duty 3-position cast iron cooking grids to sear the perfect steak. The pointed side delivers perfect steakhouse sear marks and the V-channel side captures juices for continuous basting of more delicate foods. They can also be angled to channel excess juices away and avoid any flare-ups. The stainless steel Flav-R-Wave system vaporizes juices and infuses them back into your food for great barbecue flavor. The four stainless steel Dual-Tube burners provide two ribbons of flame to deliver even cooking temperatures. Expand your grilling options with the 10,000 BTU side burner and 15,000 BTU open flame rear burner and premium rotisserie kit. Convenience and performance features such as the fold-down shelves, locking casters, illuminated control knob lights and porcelain coated warming rack deliver exceptional value.

Great grills

We had a baron 440 for over about 10 years. the only issue was after all the years of almost daily use, the tray that holds the igniters rusted away we had too lite with lighter. we went to get another one last Nov, but it was changed to the crown 440. still a great grill. The side burner had just gone bad, has no blue flame so, it gets black soot on pans.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Uneven heat and poor cintrol

Dissapointing the left hand side of the grill is a lot hotter than the right side. On minimum setting it is still too hot, even on the cooler side and trying to slow cook ribs is impossible without cremating them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was looking for a reliable grill that was made in N. America, and Broil King fits the bill quite nicely. I also liked the fact that I could get a "bundle" that included a rotisserie that is made specifically for the grill
