These filters are made with pleated filter technology for longer life compared to standard Brita filters. Like all Brita filters, they are made to remove harmful substances from your drinking water, like mercury or lead. The pull top cap on these filters makes insertion and removal easy, while the filters themselves are effective with up to six month of regular use.

Doesn't fit my Brita pitcher

Brita website said the Elite filters fit all pitchers but I have a Slim pitcher with 4 slots in the filter and it won't fit mine
The Elite filters only have 1 slot so check your pitcher before buying

No Good for Dispense

Bought this twice as it says it's for the dispenser. No way. it does not fit snug at all. I can't trust that it's fully filtering water. must only be meant for the pitcher despite the description.
Prosconvenient, Easy to Drink, Health Reasons, Good Value, Great for the Environment, Great Taste, Pregnant/New Baby
No, I do not recommend this product.

Brita filters make great water!

Brita filters are great but this one is awesome because you don’t have to change it as often. It ends up being pretty much the same cost per month, but there is less to keep track of. I don’t think it filters the water any better than the standard filters, at least as much as I can perceive, but it is a great time saver.

Need Help

We bought this pitcher about 8 months ago and the first time we had to change the Elite Filter. It refuses to reset the light back to green. We have tried everything recommended. It just flashes green and red. Love the pitcher, but don't want to buy a new pitcher. Otherwise I'd rate it 5 stars.
