The generator is a nice size and extremely quiet when running. I have not had the opportunity, thankfully, to use it for any length of time but have tested various loads. (I bought it for backup power during an outage.) It is an inverter type generator so safe with electronic devices. The only issue I have is starting it. On average it takes at least 4 pulls even when warm. It's a hard pull and I'm a big guy. When it starts there is a momentary clunk but I think this is when the alternator engages. I have read that others had the same problem with starting. One suggested regapping the plug. It seemed to help him. Ill give it a try. Overall, it seems like a great generator, its heavy but easy to manoeuvre with the retractable handle. Occasionaly it will come on sale and I found the best price at Canadian Tire.

A: No I had terrible experience with this generator and returned it for in store credit Took it home powered it up when connected to home load if it cuts out because of too high load it resets itself and keeps trying over and over sending surged to the home line repeatedly it screwed up some electronic devices connected to my home Unhooked and returned never again Went to harbour freight bought predator 9500 invertor gen seems much better

Q: The 30amp plug on generator is a round 4 plug, my RV plug is a round 30amp but 3 plug. Can this generator be plugged into an RV, if so what is the part number of the adapter?

A: Generator is L14-30 receptacle which is 120/240 Volt Ac with a ground while your RV is probably a L5-30 receptacle which is 120 Volt AC with a ground. Can't tell without seeing. Should be marked on RV plug. RV dealer should be able to help.
