Not a 1/4" Coupling

I had to extend the 1/4" tubes on a new faucet I was installing and needed a pair of 1/4" copper tubing couplings. I picked up two and verified the part number (063-1208-2). When I went to solder in the fittings, it was clear that the couplings were not 1/4", they were 3/8". " So, I had to use brass unions to complete the job. It seems that the supplier of the fittings screwed up big time.

No, I do not recommend this product.
