I Recently, I purchased this product, which I have only used for approximately eight months.
I initially made the purchase due to the brand reputation, which I had heard was positive. However, my experience has been far from satisfactory.
I am deeply disappointed with the product. I was compelled to replace the disc pad because the velcro strap failed to function effectively.
Yesterday, while using the product, I detected an unpleasant odor reminiscent of burning. Upon further investigation, I discovered that a small piece of plastic, located beneath the disc pad, had melted.
Despite my efforts, I have been unable to locate the replacement part on the website.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Bosch Ros20vs orbital sander/ polisher

I bought it several years ago but just yesterday had a need to use it. I fired it up and felt sticky substance on my fingers. The red plastic border around the on/ off switch was melted. What do I do with it now? Could that plastic had softened on its own over time? It ran for an instant but I switched it off as soon as I realized there was a problem.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Worthless pice of junk

Bought this one year ago and I have only used it twice. First time it worked ok. The second time I used it about two minutes into sanding it kicked the breaker in my shop. I changed to a different outlet started the sander was working on an edge of my project and it kicked that breaker. The sander wasn't very dirty. I tried it again and it slowed down then kicked the breaker. I have bought Bosch power equipment almost all my working life it seems to be the quality isn't there anymore. I have a new cordless drill I am taking back because it to sounds like the motor is going out. This makes me sad. Seems like Bosch is only in it for the money.

Bosch makes great home appliances but not power tools

We have a Bosch dishwasher and it's fantastic so I thought a Bosch orbital sander would be fantastic as well. Wrong. Though the sander pad spun fine when it was unloaded, just putting a small amount of pressure on it when sanding would make the sander stop. This never happened with the DeWalt orbital sanders I've owned. Not sure if I purchased a faulty sander, but I returned the Bosch and bought a DeWalt. I will never purchase a Bosch power tool again.
