Q: I love the sander but am having a hard time removing the dust cup. Any ideas?

A: I found it hard at first too, I was more scared of breaking the plastic than anything (the plastic is quite thick and strong). I pulled quite hard while wiggling it side to side. After a few times it loosened up a bit and it’s easier to pull off to clean.

A: Nous sommes désolés d'apprendre que vous ne parvenez pas à installer le papier de verre. Le type de papier de verre est un crochet et une boucle. Le crochet est le côté rugueux et rugueux et la boucle est le côté doux et flou. Une fois réunis, les côtés du tissu à crochets et boucles se fixent et créent un lien très fort, qui peut encore être séparé en cas de besoin.

Q: Can it attach to a shop vac?

A: No 547266 / BDEMS600 will not connect to a shop vac given the shape of the dust port. Having said that, the sander does come with a Dust Cannister with micro-filtration.

Q: I like the palm sanders and find lots of use for them but it is also frustrating that replacement parts are not sold locally such as the platen and pad that is easily torn when removing the sand paper where can I get these parts.

A: Yes you can purchase different GRITs of sandpaper. CTC carries: 54-7024 54-7025 54-7026 54-7023 No you cannot wet sand with it.
