Disappointing waffle maker.

This waffle maker has been a disappointment. We've used the waffle plaque twice, the grill plaque once and the plastic around the handle is already melting! It works OK for the waffles but we won't be trying any of the other options (plain plaque and sandwich). It seems to be 4 appliances in 1 but it's really none. The price was convenient, one reason we got this model, but it may turn out more expensive in the end, as we may need to replace it soon. It's easy to use. One just plugs the appliance and it starts. There's no adjustment nob for temperature, so it just heats and rests in cycles. Leaving the waffle dough for about 6 min cooks them thoroughly enough, but one can't control the heat. It is easy to store as it's not very big in size. In general, I wouldn't recommend it unless looking for a minimum use and only the waffle iron.
