Buy this and love it!

I love this product. I am 82 years old so lifting the machine with the foot attached is a bit of a struggle for me. However, the weight of the foot is what really does the work for you. I have had the steam cleaner with the single pad and I liked it until it died. It took a lot of muscle to use it but none to move it. The SpinWave is so easy to use and does a better job than the single pad steamer. On the SpinWave you can actually see that the water is at the high temp that guarantees floors are being sanitized. With my cat, that is important. Also, it warns against using on vinyl.....but I did and it was perfect! It doesn't take a long time in any spot to cause problems with my vinyl coming up. That's not to say I recommend doing that because everybody has a different floor with a different age.

Bought this product. 1st time did a alright job as a steam mop. The wet mop portion was non existent. I was only a bit wet after the steam mop was turned off. The second time I went to use it the motor blew in it and smoke started coming out of the machine. My kitchen smelt like burnt rubber for a few hours. Went to return and was told they could only do an exchange or store credit. Ended up paying more and getting another steam mop.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Love the concept and how it worked. But used it about five times and low and behold, the handle up top broke. Had the wires still in it so was able to finish the floor, but only made of plastic, what a stupid design since this is where you hold the machine. I could understand a plastic overlap over an aluminum tube. Have only had a couple of months, no receipt or box so off in the trash this will go. Do not buy cheaply made.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Anyone use the steam mop on stairs? Wondering how this unit performs on stairs since they are usually rectangular and you can't get into the corners. Thanks in advance for your replies.

  • A: Hi Bob. It's designed for hard floors, but stairs is a good question. It's probably not the best design for this purpose.
