Powerful machine for my carpet floor. So far working great!

What an awakening. I donated to a thrift store my perfectly working upright vacuum cleaner that I bought in 2007 for $59.00 . I simply wanted to upgrade to a more powerful machine. I had vacuumed my carpets with the old one just before I donated it, picked up this new Bissell upright and vacuumed the carpets again. I couldn't believe it: I almost filled the canister with debris, after only a few passes. I don't have any pets, but figured that if this vacuum was ideal for pet hair, then it must be great at anything. I was so right. I found out that my old upright had been actually driving dust down into the carpets. The Bissell pulled it all out, after all these years! This is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever used. It's a real workhorse!

This vacuum is hands down the best I've ever used. It effortlessly tackles dirt and debris, making cleaning super easy. As a pet owner with a cat and two bunnies, I need something dependable, and this vacuum does the job perfectly. It picks up all the fluff, hair, and dust without any hassle, and I can really notice the difference in the air quality. The front light helps highlight all the dirt before it gets sucked up, which is a nice touch. Plus, the user-friendly design includes all the features necessary for a thorough clean. If you want a reliable vacuum that really works, look no further.

I purchased this vacuum less than 60 days ago. It is lightweight and easy to use. The problem is belt cover is extremely bad design as dog hair get inside the belt and causes the brush to stop moving needs to be removed and clean every time vs other vacuums at the same price range you don't to do this every time. if you have dog with long hair this vacuum isn't the one I would recommend. very poorly design for that component not worth price for quality of it.

I purchased the Bissell Lift-Off vacuum a little less than a month ago to replace my older Lift-Off model that finally kicked the bucket, and was honestly my favorite vacuum I’ve ever owned. When that one stopped working, I was really excited to be able to afford another one, and I had high expectations based on my previous experience. There are definitely things I like about this vacuum. I like the overall size, the lift-off feature, and the detachable above-floor cleaning option. The light is also a great feature. Overall, it’s easy to use and easy to clean, which I do appreciate. That said, the biggest issue for me is the suction. Compared to my previous Lift-Off vacuum, this one just doesn’t perform the same. I have mostly hardwood floors, and it struggles to pick up dirt, dust, and hair the way my old one did. That’s been really disappointing, especially since that’s the main thing I need a vacuum to do well. I really wish I could say I love this vacuum, because there are several features I genuinely like. But when it comes down to overall performance, I’m disappointed. Based on this experience, I don’t see myself purchasing another Bissell in the future.
