Q: If I use it on an area rug will it damage the hardwood below? I do not want it to get/stay wet.

A: Hi Frankie. You shouldn't use a deep cleaner on your furniture if it's not advised by the manufacturer. If it's safe to clean your sofa with water, it could be used with water only.

Used this once to clean our car seat upholstery after our little grandson was sick. Cleaned up well, no stains and was light and easy to use. Only complaint I have is there is nowhere to keep the accessories on the machine so we’ll need to get a container to store them close by so they don’t get lost.

Works as expected. Consistent power. Commend Bissell on their power cords compared to competitors as they have proven to withstand and maintain integrity even after years of use. Holds enough solvent for both a smaller task or for the larger but if you want a deep cleaning a larger machine would probably be more suitable.

I am absolutely obsewsed with the Bissell Carpet/ upholstery cleaner. Way betten than I expected. I cleaned my carpet and my couch, everything looked new again. The most satisfying part was dumping the dirty water. I higjly recommend this product

Significant design improvements over our 10 year old model. Easy to clean. After cleaning I suction some water to clean the inside of the hose, then use the self clean function to sanitize.
