I had high hopes for the Bissell CrossWave OmniFind, especially based on all the positive buzz. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations. The suction power is weak compared to other multi-surface cleaners I’ve used, so it often leaves behind streaks and soggy spots on hard floors. The brush roll gets tangled easily with pet hair, and cleaning it takes way more time and effort than it should. The water tank and dirty water separation also feel poorly designed; you end up with splashes and spills every time you empty it. After multiple uses, I’m just not impressed with the overall performance or durability. For the price point, I expected a lot more reliability and cleaning power. I can’t recommend this model and would advise considering other options first.

I would like something small like this size, but easier to clean it out. I found it not mostly easy, but some spots hard to dig out the dirt.

Broke after 8 months

I would buy something else and wish there had been more comments available when I bought! This vacuum takes a while to get used to - as a lot of reviews say, it leaks and leaves a lot of gunk behind. I learned to always leave a towel handy when using it and to run the clean cycle really often while cleaning the floors. But it now just broke after only 8 months of maybe weekly usage! Can't recommend.

Don’t waste your money

I bought this wet dry vacuum with high hopes because I have had a bissel vacuum that works great for year but this is the absolute worst vacuum I’ve ever used. It literally just pushes hair and dirt around and has absolutely no sucking power. I am writing this review in hopes that no one else wastes their money like I did.

Q: Just to confirm, can you use it to clean an area rug with water or only dry?

A: Yes, it is not a steam cleaner (no heat), but it will clean a rug with water, or you can use it as a vacuum. FYI, the canister is very small, and it does not have very good suction for picking up pet hair, etc. Although I do like this machine, I ended up buying a regular vacuum due to constantly having to clean out the canister, and it not picking up basic pet hair (okay, maybe heavy pet hair, my ginger cat sheds a lot).
