Q: Why are the bags now 12.7 kg? They used to be 14 kg and the price stayed the same. Kinda sneaky on them
5 years agoA: Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Many companies, including pet food manufacturers, have recently experienced significant fluctuations in commodity and ingredient costs. These companies are often faced with the choice of raising prices or reducing the net weight of selected items. Purina is taking this action to remain competitively priced and to continue to offer value to the consumer. Please know we did not increase the price of these downsized bags. However, please understand that retail stores determine the final price of products.
