These skates are great if you just want them for recreation skating. If I was playing hockey I would go with the more expensive Baur skate. But for skating, fine.

I used these skates once so far and very happy other than the skates needed sharpening. Canadian Tire sharpener didn't help. Solid skates and would recommend for the casual skater like myself.

My daughter visited from Buffalo New York and wanted skates for her husband for Christmas Skates are very expensive because they are mostly Canadian made and have large3 tarifs on them At Canadian Tire she found his large extra wide size for $ 119 she was so happy
