Gear box is weak

Slide gate has never moved properly and causes you to waste seed. Gearbox gets hung up which causes the spreader to stop spinning. I had a year before I used it or I would have been returned it. I have spread 100 pds

Good Enough Minus 1 Star Having To Assemble

Good enough for my application, I guess in the warmer months it if I decide to over seed my field it’ll work but I bought it to spread sand behind my lawn tractor and/or quad when I plow snow and then go back with this to spread sand/salt. If it came assembled ready to go I’d give it 5 stars. In my mind if I’m spending almost $200 CAD on a plastic trailer it should come assembled

All Agri-Fab units require some assemble. Keep in mind spreading full sand is not recommended. You would need to mix 50/50 with another product. Should be towed with a lawn tractor. Agri-FabInc.

No screws

Bought the 45-0530 spreader. Used it one time. The gear housing covers appeared to have been glued together. No screws though there were screw holes. Guess it was a cost savings matter to not use screws. Anyway the housing separated and the gears stripped the first time I used it.
