Do not buy
a year ago
I bought the AFG 7.3 Au exercise bike about fouryears ago and used it moderately. It was good for about 1.5 years. Loved it a very quite bike. After about one year the left pedal began to click on every rotation with no assistance from manufacturer. I was able to semi fix the clicking so it was not as loud. Recently, I plugged in the bike and received an E-2 error code, which through my own research, have found it to be a wiring issue, sensor and or the motor itself. Special tools need to be purchased to remove the pedal to determine the repair. Anyhow, avoid this product as it does not last for the price you pay.

the program never worked since day one, then a year or so after it stop working, I have order a charger, but back order, anyway cannot get any parts orservices, very desapointed,

Broken Product - No Service

I bought this bike two years ago and have used it on and off. Recently I got an error message E-2 (seems like I'm not the only one after reading other reviews). Company is not responsive when trying to contact them for repairs which means my bike is currently used as a place to hang dry cloths.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Why do you say in the description "Programs: manual, weight loss, muscle toner, strength builder, constant watts, the climb, max cardio, custom"? That's nowhere close to the very limited programs this bike has , which are Manual, Calories, Distance and Climb.

Q: got into energy saver mode, now screen is frozen and resistance won't change. Tried to get into energy saver mode because the display wouldn't shut off, now the resistance doesn't change even between 2 and 20, stays the same and then the display freezes. Resetting and unplugging does nothing.

A: This machine has a special feature called Energy Saver™ mode. This mode is NOT automatically activated. When Energy Saver mode is activated, the display will automatically enter standby mode (Energy Saver mode) after 15 minutes of inactivity. This feature saves energy by disabling most power to the machine until a key is pressed on the console. This feature can be turned on or off in the engineering menu. To enter the engineering menu, press and hold the (+) level key and (–) level key for 3-5 seconds. Use the (-/+) keys and ENTER key to navigate to P5 under ENG2. Press ENTER to select Energy Saver mode, use (-/+) keys to select ENRGY SVE ON or OFF. Press and hold STOP for 3-5 seconds to exit ENG2. Press and hold STOP again for 3-5 seconds to exit the engineering menu. If you want to completely power it off, you will need to unplug it.
