Efficient scale

My old Starfrit (remember those ?) from CT decided to give up the ghost, so it was time for a replacement.
I'm familiar with this brand as my family has various other scales manufactured by them, and had no complaints. It didn't hurt that it was on sale with good reviews.
From a looks point of view, it looks really sleek and modern, what with the glass top and the sleek chrome legs and accents.
There is a plastic tab in the battery compartment that you pull, and it activates the battery, and you can start using the scale.
It's quite easy to use, step on it, wait a couple of seconds, and the screen will give you your weight, which I found surprisingly accurate when checking with other weight scales I have.
The glass top will attract dust, but a damp cloth takes care of that in seconds.

Not impressed

This bathroom scale is not reliable. I can stand on it and get a reading, wait 5 minutes and stand on it again and get a different reading. I've tried moving it to a different location, (from the bathroom to the kitchen both on the same floor) and get 2 different readings. It is modern an sleek looking but I would not recommend it.
