Works well, has a glass face, which is a nice touch. Wish it had tick marks for every degree instead of only even ones, but otherwise no issues.

For accurate readings and proper operation of this product, avoid mounting in direct sunlight or near a source of heat.

Q: Could this device be used in a sauna? Is anyone using one this way?

A: No. Usually a sauna will generally range between 70-90 °C. The infrared saunas are cooler but still get to 70*. Don’t do it.
