Q: Hi this product is thick, good for deep gauges but not for finer scratches, what can you use to thin it out?

A: This is an expensive waterproof filler for boats. Similar to a car body filler which cannot be thinned out. It can be sanded down to a fairly thin thickness.There are a number of other Gel-coat type products on the market for finer scratches.

Excellent stuff. Sands well it’s an off white Color and seems really durable when mixed and applied properly. There was a review that said it came out blue that only means he used too much hardner you don’t need much just mix well. Cures fast so only the size of two golf balls at most before mixing another batch
