10 STEPS

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

STEP 1

Empty detergent

STEP 2

Place the detergent hose into the container to drain leftover detergents

STEP 3

Reconnect the hose and fill the detergent tank with water

STEP 4

Flush until the tank is empty

STEP 5

Use fuel stabilizer

For gas pressure washers, you’ll want to protect the fuel system. You can use a fuel stabilizer solution to prevent fuel from becoming stale when stored.

STEP 6

Run the machine for 2 minutes

This will circulate the stabilizer throughout the fuel system.

STEP 7

Turn the pressure washer off

Make sure the pressure washer is turned off and disconnected from the water source. Confirm water is not left in the unit by engaging the trigger on the gun.

STEP 8

Connect the pump saver hose to the pump inlet and press the pump saver button

Pressing the pump saver knob releases the antifreeze content. Keep pressing until the fluid exits the pump outlet.

STEP 9

Wind hoses properly to prevent kinking

STEP 10

Store your pressure washer in your garage or shed and cover it with a tarp
