    Chain broken within half year

My husband bought this bike and used less than half year, even not so often. The chain broken suddenly, so I brought the bike to the Canadian tire . They cannot fix the chain, so still sit in my basement. Because the bike is not cheap, we're very upset.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Great Bike

I bought this bike in April. I have used it three to four times a week and it has been great. It's super light and fast. There are two problems though. There is no suspension system. So it can get painful if you don't have an athletic body. The gear is not as smooth as you would expect. You have to switch slowly one at a time. But overall it still deserves a 5 star.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Fantastic buy

Hi! Bought this last month (Apr 17). It is super quick. Meant for roads. No shock absorbers, so ride on pavements is jerky. Very light, so easy to carry and stow. Changing gears is effortless... If you are looking for a everyday ride to work place or to college. This is the one. If you are looking for mountain biking and stuff... this would be a wrong choice. If you time your purchase well, you can get it for $200 less than the normal price. Hope you guys found this useful.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Nice hybrid bike

I was surprised at how good the quality of this bike, specially for the price. The parts and the build is very good. So far no issues with the bike after riding it every day for two weeks. It feels like my old Jamis road bike except the bar is straight and the bike is meant for comfort but also does have the speed if you need to. If you are looking for a daily bike for your daily commute or maybe fitness, this bike is worth checking.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

I am a new rider. This bike is only meant for flat road surfaces. Very fast, very comfortable, easy to ride. Great commuter. Highly recommend this bike for a beginner/rookie. Gears are fast and easy to change.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Purchase would be a gift for my son. His inseam is 33". Would this bike be too small for him?

    1 Answer
    • A: In short – this would fit because of the way we design our mass market bikes: Inseam is a point of measurement, but height and reach are also very important. The way we design the geometry for our mass bikes is to fit a larger range of people in a comfortable standpoint. We generally have a lower stand over to fit a larger range of people. We also develop the overall geometry to have a more comfortable positioning that includes a short effective top tube length. The bike is made to fit a range of people between 5'5" and 6'1" universally. 2 questions we typically ask consumers – height and the expectations of what fit they are looking to obtain. I would also let the customer know that in order to properly measure her son’s inseam to determine the appropriate bike frame size – you would need to do the following: • Stand with your back against a wall and spread your feet 6-8" apart. • Place a book between your legs and up against the wall, spine up; raise it until snug against your crotch (this mimics your bike seat). • Have another person measure from the top of the book (spine) down to the floor. You would also want additional 1-2 inch clearance on top of that to ensure proper comfort and fit.

    1 Answer
    • A: This particular model comes in one size only. As bicycles are fitted to inseam and not height, we would recommend that you be fitted for a bicycle at the store.
