Very cool addition to the toolbox

They are green, not red as the website picture suggests. I also found it alarming the way the rubber tubes came kinked and jammed into the packaging, but the kinks didn't seem to harm the sound transmission. The overall quality seems somewhat lacking, but they do work well and are quite cheap.

works better if you replace poor quality tubing

It works much better now that I replaced the short weak (always crimped) tubing, with longer (2" each side) clear 1/4" ID tubing that is flexible yet stiff. This works well to find sounds but is not good quality. I expect it to break if not treated with care.

A: Vous pouvez enlever la pièce d'extrémité completement, ne laissant que le tuyau fixé au écouteurs. Cela vous permettra d'entendre les fuites d'air, les fuites d'échappement, etc. Nous ne sommes pas sûr comment cela fonctionnerait sur une fuite d'eau.
