Always cooked the rice well. Like the steamer basket & the serving scoop.
Could have been 5 stars except for a few small issues.
Like others have mentioned the instruction manual is pretty useless. Veg & fish cooking chart? Nowhere to be found.
Also no serving scoop holder, but that's not really necessary.
Unfortunately the obviously flimsy On switch broke after 3 months. But 3 minutes on the phone with B&D & a replacement was arranged.
I would still recommend it.

Waste of Money

I bought this rice cooker and after 2 or 3 uses, it would switch to "warm" instead of "cook" for no apparent reason, and the water was no where near to being absorbed. I had to stay next to it when it was on so I could switch it back to cook when this occurred. And it would need few minutes to be able to switch to back to cook, you couldn't do it immediately. Spend your money on another product.

Don't bother with this one!

We bought this because we thought we would upgrade our previous rice cooker -- mistake! When the rice is finished cooking and it supposedly goes into its 'warm' cycle, you have to unplug it because it cooks the rice on the bottom. The first time we used it we didn't check it out after it was finished cooking, and the rice on the bottom was brownish and hard. AND it lasted only 3 months before it bit the dust!
No, I do not recommend this product.

Good so far. But where is the spoon holder?

I bought this last week and have used it once. So far it works great....I don't need instructions on how to make rice. But one of the features of this rice cooker is a spoon holder, which should be standard in all rice cookers. I just don't see it in mine! It's not like the picture on this page. Please see my attached picture and you'll notice it doesn't have the spoon holder, even though I have the same model.

A: The WARM indicator light comes on and stays on, therefore maintaining the serving temperature. After the switch pops up, leave the lid closed for at least 15 minutes to further steam the rice. Note: If holding rice for longer than 30 minutes, stir occasionally to prevent browning of rice on the bottom of cooking bowl.
