When you’re making cross-cuts or angle cuts in wood or composite, for projects like baseboards and door frames, you need a mitre saw.

Type

A compound mitre saw only pivots one way for angled cuts.
A dual compound mitre saw allows you to make bevel cuts both ways.
A sliding mitre saw can make longer cuts.
