Where are you going to be using it?

Before you start looking at all the basketball hoop options that are available, you should consider how much space you have and if you have something to attach it to. You’ll also need to decide if you want the height to be adjustable.

Figuring out these basic questions will help you choose the best basketball hoop based on your intended use.

Combo Hoop System

Combo hoop systems include backboard, rim and net. Mounting kits may be purchased separately if not included. Combo systems can be secured to an existing system, pole, wall or roof for space optimization and sturdiness. Unfortunately, the height of a combo system cannot be adjusted once mounted.

Portable Hoop System

Built as a stand-alone unit, portable hoop systems include the base, which needs to be filled with sand or water for stability, a pole, a backboard, a rim and a net. Portable system can be conveniently moved for storage, and the height is adjustable for optimal play.

Acrylic Backboard

Ideal for competitive play, acrylic backboards offer better rebound of the ball.

Polycarbonate Backboard

Ideal for recreational play, polycarbonate backboards are durable; though do not provide rebound bounce like acrylic backboards.

Infinite Adjustment

The height of the hoop system can be adjusted to any height between 7.5 feet and 10 feet.

Adjustable

The height of the hoop system can be adjusted by the predetermined increments of 4 to 6 inches.
