Black & Decker Stainless-Steel Convection Oven, 4-Slice
not the best choice
I have always bought Black and Decker Toaster ovens as they were good quality and lasted forever. This toaster oven does not reach that standard. It doesn't reach the proper temperature and the parts that i must touch get hot. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

I bought this to replace my toaster oven that died after 10 years. The appearance is nice, but that's where my pros end. The temp doesn't seem to get as hot as the dial it's set to, and certainly doesn't stay as hot as you'd like. The door is just a glass piece with no seal. I burn myself everytime on this door, poor deign as I've never had such an issue before. Good for keeping things warm, but not for cooking. It's unfortunate as I prefer to avoid using my large stove/oven whenever possible. I think I'll invest a little more money next time and get a better unit.

Worst Toaster Oven Going!
Do not buy this convection oven. Does not cook as it says it would. Speed of cooking is twice the usual and not less than usual.
Would return it if I could find the receipt.

Buy something else
Received this as a Cristmas gift in 2011. It's now September. So it lasted about 9 months. Won't toast. and it does not heat up properly. Looks good and worked well at first but I will never buy Black and Decker again if I can find something else. Although this has a 2 year guarantee, good luck with the customer service. I haven't even been able to talk to them and it's been a week.

Waste of Money
Bought this oven in May, now it's July and the door hinge has dragged itself into the machine at one end so the other end is not attached - basically the door falls off.
Of course I got rid of the receipt as soon as I found out the thing worked. So can't return it. Waste of money.

I regret purchasing this toaster oven. It takes twice the usual time to cook even with the convection turned on. It does not tell you when the oven is preheated. You must turn the timer past 10 minutes to turn on the oven, so you are forced to use the timer, which isn't accurate. It runs fast, so I still need to time things independently. Ovoid this model, there are lots of others out there better. This is a case of a sale item costing more money in the long run - a lot more energy used because it just won't heat up enough to cook things properly.

I bought this to replace a smaller older toaster oven. I found it very easy to use the dials are very easy to figure out and the manual is still sealed in the bag it came in. it works awsome on everything i have used it for ,looks are apealing and a great addition for anyone looking for a counter top convection oven that doesnt take up much space. I got mine on sale for 39.99 and I think its a great deal!!!! you wont be dissapointed.

Very useful in a kitchen - Good value
First of all, the picture is not at all like the actual oven, the front facia, door and controls are different.
This is a 1500W multi-function convection oven and toaster. The controls are not very intuitive and it takes a while (and the manual) to learn the combinations in order to get the proper function, i.e. toaster or oven. The toaster feature is kind of a hit and miss when it comes to finding the correct toasting time. When making a bunch of toasts in a row each batch will likely be toasted to a different degree. But the oven is very useful to re-heat food or cook small portions, and to grill bread and bagels. It has two racks and a pan. Finding alternate pans is a challenge, nothing comes close to its weird size. Certainly much cheaper on the hydro bill than using a large oven and that was my main reason to buy it. All in all a good buy. One little grief: the one I originally picked had a defective timer, I had to exchange it but Cdn Tire's exchange policy made it super easy.
