Danby Freezer
I purchased this freezer, same model 4 years ago when one of my children went away to College. It is now with the other at University and have had no problems with it at all. It is great, compact, takes very little space, convenient as it is on wheel, energy saver, easy to move around as on wheels, easy to clean . it stays at the temperature it is set at and reaches set temperature quickly after plugging in. A very important feature for students who have this freezer in their rooms, is that it's very quiet, does not make humming or strange noise as some students complained about with own other brand of freezers.
It is not built heavy duty but get for what you pay for. Have had NO problems with it at all.

Apartment Sized
I just picked on up for my apartment and they are mini freezers. They will only hold 4 Queen Charlotte sitka deer at once, so you might need to give the 5th away. It is great to have an extra game freezer and leave space in the top of your fridge for sauces etc.

Love This Unit!
I purchased this freezer 1 week ago now. I am absolutely loving it. It is spacious yet small enough that doesn't add too much bulk to the area it's in. The initial start up went very fast and it reached temp before the manual said it would.
The freezer is very quiet and being on wheels easy to move around when needed. I am very happy with this freezer and would recommend it to everyone.

Compact, yet roomy.
I purchased and pick-up this unit at a Canadian Tire close by my place because most appliances that require shipping are almost damaged.
I was looking for a small unit for a secondary freezer unit to store seasonal fruits and overfill from our fridge freezer.
The unit was also light enough for one person to carry with a dolly.
After unpackaging, there was a dent at the bottom of the freezer probably from the store clerk who lifted onto a shopping cart. It's cosmetic so I didn't mind.
First start-up, it took less than 6hrs to get to -17*C(using an aftermarket thermometer) at 3/4 turn of the temperature dial.
I had it now for almost 1month and it's very quiet.
This model uses 172kwh/year so it was the most energy efficient from the other Danby freezers and other similar size deep freeze.

Great Freezer!
I have had this freezer for about a year and it works great. It is really large to fit lots of items. It really works great when we purchase groceries, such as meat, in bulk and need to freeze most of it. It has one basket that is removable. It is really easy to defrost and clean. Super quiet and uses hardly any energy.

very useful
This product Danby Compact Chest Freezer is a very nice and useful. We got this about a year ago, and it is a huge help to store chicken and other stuff. It is very easy to use, and does not make any noise. There is only a basket that comes with it that can be easily removed if not needed. There is a lot of space in it for storage. It will come in handy for those people who buy groceries in bulk. The freezer is light weight, and has tires under it which makes it easy to move. This is a great product which will come very useful for storage purposes.

Keeps Stuff Frozen
How to write an interesting review about a freezer. :)
The freezer itself works beautifully. It's quiet (now, read later) and it uses next to no energy. Get yourself a fridge/freezer thermometer and set it to -10 to -15 and you are set.
I can fill this freezer and I'm easily good for a couple months before having to fill it back up, and I have never emptied it completely since buying it about 6 months ago. The size is more than enough for 1 or 2 people.
Features...hmmm....nothing special other than a basket that can be removed, a knob to set the temperature, a drain for defrosting, leveling feet, and wheels on the rear that make it easy to roll/reposition. The cord it about 5 and half feet long.
When I first got mine home, the right bottom side was pushed in, the area where the side panel is and the compressor and everything is kept. Since the freezer worked perfectly, I pulled it out myself, straightening the bottom steel and the vented panel rather than packing it up and lugging it back to the store for another, which I would have probably had to pull out there to inspect, repack, and lug back home. One of the screws did not quite fit anymore as the hole was slightly stripped from the damage and the panel would rattle off this annoying buzzing sound. I pulled all the screws and riveted the panel on, and the little freezer has been completely silent ever since. :)

Good Product
I am very satisfied with this product. I've been using this for 3 years now and still running well. Size is small but I guess it has enough of room to meet a small family need. I certainly recommend this product to my friends..
