Quit after 5 times of use.
Purchased Feb and I am returning it in April. On my 6 time of using it the red power light would not come on, heater would not heat up :( I have seen other reviews they all seemed not to bad, that is why I purchased it...maybe I go a dud.

quit working the 4th time used
Basket is on the small size. It takes a long time to heat up. The reset button broke almost immediately. Quit working totally the fourth time we used it. I would not buy another.

maybe did not last long enough?
Bought our Bravetti 18 months ago on sale, was a great deal and have used it at least once a week doing fries and Chicken wings. Love how much it will hold and how quick the wings are done. Biggest down fall is that we wanted panzorotti's last night and it wouldl not heat. The cord I'm not fancy on either since it is short and often falls out , only held in by a small magnet. i wish to replace it with one of the same size but think they should last longer than 18 months!

Awesome Product.
Read many other reviews on this deep fryer before going in to make my purchase and much to my surprise, it was on for half price. Out of the box it was easy to assemble and get going. Read the instructions though, as they provide lots of important information and safety tips. Everything so far on this unit appears to be quality construction and works well. The only feature I wish it had was some kind of drain spout for the oil reservoir on the bottom someplace, rather than having to lift it out and pour it manually from the top corner which can be messy if you are not careful. Otherwise, this unit ROCKS. So far we have made Tempura Vegetables, Fried Chicken and French Fries all with ease. Our next plan is to try Coconut Battered Shrimp and Calamari. For anything battered though, ignore the instructions to put your food items in the basket first and then immerse, in this case it is best to immerse the frying basket in the oil reservoir first and then gently drop the items in the oil as you batter them one at a time. This way you don't get batter caking up the bottom of your basket and the batter remains evenly around your deep frying item. Just be careful when doing this for possible splashing oil. Make sure you dry water off your food items well before battering.

Fantastic Deep Fryer
We used to buy the T Fal deep fryers and have found this bravetti make / model is the best we have ever had. We use it mostly for french fries, which come out nice and golden. Have also fried chicken wings. Again, they fry up nicely and evenly. Although you must use peanut oil instead of vegetable oil, you can actually use the oil many more times than you could use the vegetable oil as in other fryers.
We purchased it when it was on sale and have not regretted it. Easy to use and easy to clean. Excellent product.

Great Product
Have had this for a few months now, and works as advertised. Very pleased with this product, and have used it often. This fryer is fantastic. I would recommend this to anyone. We'll see how long it lasts. I usually don't write on product review sites, but it's nice to find something that you spend your hard earned money on, that actually works. Very pleased.

best fryer ever
we make everything from fried chicken to french fries .this is by far the best fryer Ive used..I'm used to commercial kitchens and didn't think id be able to find an at home fryer that would make me happy...the only downfall I noticed was that the handle and basket are a loose fit, have a pair of tongs and a silicone mitt ready...well worth the purchase!!

Worth Every Penny (at half price :)
Quite simply the best deep fryer I have ever owned or used. Everything works as advertised:
Quick heating/cooking times.
Lots of space inside and the basket holds a TON of food (10 russet potatoes with ease).
Easy to (dis)assemble, easy to clean.
Takes up little space on the countertop.
The safety timer is a nice touch for those of us who always forget to turn off the heat!
Can't say enough good things about this product. It goes on sale all the time and even at full price, i doubt you'd find a better deep fryer for less than $300.00.
So far, I have no complaints. This is a deliciously soiid purchase and worth the extra money to go from 3L to 4L.

Better choice
I have had other deep fryers with the lids attached and they were horrendous to clean. This model was the best ever purchase (1/2 off too). Very easy to clean. This machine has made deep frying a lot more fun again!

Great Product
Bought the smaller fryer in this line and liked it..but needed more capacity. This fit the bill perfectly...you can fry a whole chicken at once no problem. Only downside is cord which attaches magnetically. It can easily fall off but this has not been a major issue. Dismantles and cleans easily as well.
