Good if you eat every day
I bought this because I love poached eggs and thought this would be easier than the boiled water method. It works fine but it worth the space it takes up. I bought it because it was on sale for $20 but should have kept my money. Have only used it twice. Good buy for someone that uses it regularly but stay away if your like me and too lazy to use it.

I bought this egg poacher to replace an old one it works very good but a non stick coating would do a better job

Best pocher ever!!!
We purchased this poacher on sale and have never enjoyed poached eggs. I would say better that restaurant poached eggs.
Eggs should be room temperature, rub a little butter in the egg holder and time for 4 minutes
.
Enjoy.

Fantastic Set
I got this the other day on sale for 29.99. We've used it a couple days now and it poaches our eggs to perfection.
Well worth the sale price .... I would never pay the regular price of 69.99 though.
Wife and I are big egg eaters so for us it was worth the 29.99 to splurge on this piece of specialty cookware.

Great little kitchen addition
I bought it for the girl friends kitchen and then I got a free breakfast..ha ha. It worked fine the first time, the eggs didn't stick to the cups. I bought it when it was really marked down. No regrets.

I don't feel safe cooking in it anymore...
We bought this poacher a little while ago and it worked great at first. But then it started falling apart. It constantly smelled like burning plastic, plastic pieces of the cover started randomly breaking off and sometimes fell into my eggs. Aluminum lining of the cups was scraping off.
We threw it out and will be buying a stainless steel one instead.

Very good poacher
This poaches the eggs excellently. Very good product for money.

easy poached eggs
This makes poaching eggs for breakfast quick and easy. There is no need to drain water from the eggs like I usually have to do with traditional poaching, and they all end up the same size.

Aluminium
I've been looking for a great egg poacher for a long time. This weekend picked up the KitchenAid on sale. It does not look like the one pictured here but the important thing is the NAME and the fact that it is made of ALUMINIUM. No chance of it ever rusting which is exactly what happened to one I bought at CT in August 2010 (it was NOT a KitchenAid). and the insert for the cups rusted all around the rolled edge.
So buy KitchenAid with confidence as long as it clearly states that it is ALUMINIUM.
